I took the CW6 bus from Singapore to AEON Bukit Indah in Johor Bahru recently. The bus trip was pleasant, comfortable and cheap. Bus CW6 is run by Causeway Link and the terminal is located at Boon Lay behind Jurong Point shopping mall. I will give you a brief guide on how to board CW6 from Singapore to Bukit Indah.
Take a train or bus to Boon Lay and upon arrival you can see Jurong Point shopping mall. There is a bus interchange inside the shopping mall but the CW6 bus does not operate from this bus terminal. At the Boon Lay MRT station, walk outside along the small path and you can see the back of Jurong Point shopping mall on your left. Looking straight ahead there is an overhead bridge – walk towards the overhead head but do not cross over. Once you have reach the road near the overhead bridge, you can see a small bus stop on your right and you can see one or two guys in yellow shirt ( which is the uniform of Causeway Link ).

Tell the Causeway Link staff that you want to go Bukit Indah and he will tell you the fare. I paid S$4 for a single trip and then board the yellow bus parked beside the bus stop. I think the bus leave at 15 – 20 minutes interval. The CW6 bus would then travel to Tuas Immigration Checkpoint. Once you have cleared the immigration and walked out to the bus terminal, the Causeway Link bus bay is on the right. You can see Causeway Link yellow bus parked along the bus bay. From here, you can take any Causeway Link bus – CW3 or CW6 to Malaysian Immigration checkpoint.

Once you have cleared the Malaysian Immigration, walked straight and you can see the Causeway Link buses parked at the bus bay. The first bus bay is for traveling to Johor Premium Outlet mall and Legoland. Further up is the waiting point for CW3 amd CW6 buses. Board the CW6 bus when it arrived at the bus bay. The CW6 bus would travel for about 15 minutes and picking passengers along the way. When you see AEON Shopping Mall, it is time to alight. The AEON shopping mall is on the left – so sit on the left side (opposite the driver seat) of the bus and you can’t missed it. Anyway, many passengers would also alight at AEON mall. The CW6 would then continued to travel to its next destination – TESCO and finally Giant Hypermarket in Bukit Indah.

From the bus stop of AEON Shopping Mall, you can see that Granada Hotel and Macdonald’s is opposite on the left. Granada hotel is a relatively new hotel and it is a comfortable place to stay. If you are keen in reading my review of this hotel, just follow the link below –

To go back to Singapore, take the CW6 bus from the same bus stop that you have previously alighted – that is the bus stop outside AEON shopping mall. I paid RM5 for the bus trip back to Singapore.
