If you are looking for economical and authentic Indian food in Johor Bahru, do try out Amma Restuarant. It is located besides Tropical Inn Hotel and opposite Doubletree by Hilton. The restaurant serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian Indian food.

My recommendation is the Roti prata or roti canai with egg and onions – RM3 It is really good. I had also ordered the Mutton meal set – RM11 and Curry fish meal – RM11. Masala tea was RM2.50 and Lemon Juice was RM4. The mutton and curry set were with plain white rice.

I was told by the staff that if I wanted to order set meal with Biryani rice, I have to come early; as it sell out fast. The biryani rice set meal will cost slighter more. I will try it on my next trip before lunch hour.

By the way, I was there at 5pm that day and service was fast. The Amma Restaurant is fully air conditioned and clean. Take note there is a GST of 6% payable but no service charge fee.

Went to visit the Tulipmania floral display located at the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay. I visited this floral display on a weekday, so it wasn’t crowded.

There were more than 40 types of tulips on display based on magical fairy tales theme. On display were aLittle Red Riding Hood, Snow White’s Cottage, Rapunzel’s Tower, Cinderalla’s pumpkin carriage, etc. Still what attracts me were the colorful bright tulips at the garden.
