It is a shopping mall that is located next to the Hindu Temple as well as the Puteric Pacific Hotel. It is about 1 km from the Immigration checkpoint.
There are a number of stores that sells traditional malay clothes, accessories and handicraft. Anchor tenants include a supermarket, pharmacy and fast food outlet - Pizza Hut. There are also stores that sells musical instruments, jewellery and music/video CDs.
Kotaraya Plaza is not a new mall but I find the prices of merchandise over here reasonable. It is a good place to visit if you are looking for traditional malay clothes, food and handicraft.
