The UOB Plaza is located in the business district in Raffles Place. It consists of 2 skyscrapers namely UOB Plaza One and UOB Plaza 2. UOB stands for United Overseas Bank and the UOB Plaza is the headquarters for this bank.
There is an interesting bird sculpture on the ground floor (outside the building) next to the Singapore river. The fat bird sculpture is designed by Fernando Botero. This chubby bird sculpture is a hit among tourisits and locals. So do remember to take a photo of it if you are there.
